I have gained incredible industry level experience as a creative manager, at Legend 3D. While at this leading stereoscopic 3D conversion studio I climbed the ranks from Depth Artist to Depth Lead and on to Depth Supervisor. In charge of upwards to 60 artists at a time, I led the creative look for multiple feature films, commercials, broadcast, and trailers. I collaborated directly with VFX Supervisors, Compositing Supervisors, Production, and other Managers to achieve the creative vision that the client requested.
I have developed a pinpoint industry quality eye, a wickedly adaptable work style to fit various client and VFX Supervisor creative requests, and found an industry that I absolutely enjoy. An insanely strong work ethic, the ability to hit unreal deadlines, and a collaborative nature, I would be an easy fit to any VFX team.
I continue to sharpen my artistic skills with freelance jobs in many aspects of Digital Media. I have worked with New Blue Inc. to create templates for their post production video editing solutions. I also have worked with Red Phoenix Kung Fu Martial Arts School to create a full working website, motion graphics, video editing, print, and look development.
Promoted to Depth Supervisor from Associate Stereographer where I managed up to 60 artists and led and managed the creative look for multiple feature films, commercials, broadcast, and trailers. I worked directly with VFX supervisors to achieve the artistic vision of clients and major movie studios. Under this title I received credits for “Poltergeist” (2015), “The Walk” (2015), and “Insurgent” (2015).
Promoted to Associate Stereographer from Depth Lead where I worked directly with the Stereographer on over 14 feature films, commercials, broadcasts, trailers, and received 7 movie credits. I managed multiple teams of up to 15 artists working closely with Depth Leads and Artists to meet the direction of the Stereographer and scope of each project. I worked and collaborated with a full spectrum of Departments and Staff including, Stereographers, Compositing Supervisors, Art Directors, Producers, Coordinators, Technical, and Clients.
Promoted to Depth Lead from Depth Artist where I worked directly with Art Directors for “Shrek” (2010) 3D. I managed, mentored, and trained a team of 10-12 artists to meet the direction of the Art Director and Compositing Supervisor.
Worked closely with VFX supervisors and supporting departments on “Alice in Wonderland” (2009) as a Depth Artist. Modeled 3D scenes with a proprietary in house software converting 2D assets into 3D footage.
Intern for the show penguins, working in pre-production. I assisted the production team with organization of all 2D related assets and created several concepts for show props.
